Subject: [BTS] Day 6: Oxygen For Your Brain and Business

Before we get back into covering the Opportunity Selector…

…and some more hot new businesses you might want to start, let's digress for a minute and talk about your health.

You may recall when you signed up for this training series that I mentioned I would be covering important body, mind, and spirit topics that can help accelerate your success.

I'll be working those into the various lessons as we go along.

Today, I'd like to share a quick breathing tip with you that can improve your energy levels and your overall health.

Have you ever paid attention to how you breathe? Take a moment and observe your breathing right now. What is it like?

Are you breathing deeply in slow, deliberate breaths, or are you breathing in a way that is shallow? Most people breathe in shallow, short ranges - in, out, in, out.

Believe it or not, it is actually far healthier for your body if you take many long, deep breaths where you inhale slowly, and where you exhale slowly.

Breathing is one of the most overlooked aspects of our health, yet it affects our blood, brain, skin, and so many other areas of our body.

It would be difficult to change the way you breathe all day long, since your body has already established certain habits.

However, one of the biggest improvements you can do for your body is to just create the habit of taking 5-10 slow, deep breaths before each meal.?

You can also add additional deep breaths to any other time in your daily routine that is easy to remember.

But most people find it easiest to remember if you tie this habit to your meals.

And by just doing some deep breathing 3-4 times per day for 5-10 breaths at a time…

…you can help purify the bloodstream

…improve your digestion because of increased oxygen that reaches the stomach

…improve your heart activity

…and relieve some stress.

This one simple activity will leave you more energized and healthier than before.

And even if you can only stop for a second and take a few deep breaths, it is a good start.

OK, so now, let's get back to the topic of choosing the right type of business to start.

As you may recall, this step is called "The Opportunity Selector".

In the two previous lessons, I walked you through 5 of the hottest product-focused businesses to start, where you either sell your own products, or those of third parties.

The final 3 hot businesses I want to cover with you are more focused on the service end, where you make money by selling your services.

You may be the type of person who would prefer to sell your services more than you would prefer to sell or promote a product.

Of course, there are an unlimited number of different types of service businesses you can start.

But I've included these 3 ideas here to show you some of the hottest ways you can make money by selling your services today.

Let's jump right in.

Have you ever heard of the web site: Fiverr?

A lot of people haven't.

And I honestly didn't know about it myself until a year ago.

Fiverr is an online marketplace for services that cost $5.

People sell all kinds of services on Fiverr for $5, such as creating a video, doing research, or writing an article, just to give you a few examples.

In fact, there are even some really unusual or funny services that people offer for $5, such as listen to you complain about your spouse, be your imaginary friend, or exercise for you.

If you want to see how crazy some of these are, check out Fiverr when you have a minute and go to the "fun and bizarre" category.

You'll get a good laugh, I promise.

But the key point I'm trying to make is that YOU could sell all kinds of services on Fiverr too.

There are some people who make a full time living by simply doing various tasks for others on Fiverr.

Now, I will tell you, that once you have done a certain number of gigs on Fiverr, they let you promote higher priced services with certain restrictions.

So there are opportunities to make more than just $5 per gig…but you have to prove yourself before Fiverr makes those available to you.

I put together a special report on this topic for those of you who want more information.  It's called:

How To Make $20-$30 Per Hour When You Sit In Front Of A Computer

This report covers how to make money selling your services on Fiverr, including:

…how to get your new account setup

…how to market yourself on Fiverr with compelling descriptions

…and how to charge more than $5 with "gig extras".

Now let's take a look at another opportunity that most people never even consider.

The U.S. federal government is the largest buyer of goods and services in the United States.

They buy everything from toilet paper and office supplies, to web design services and lawn mowing.

Yet most people never even consider pursuing the U.S. government as a client.

With the continued advances in technology, the U.S. government has made it easier than ever before to offer your goods and services.

There are 3 different ways that the U.S. government buys goods and services.

Two of those ways are pretty complex.

But one of them is pretty easy, and it involves a reverse auction called FedBid that is kind of like eBay.

On that site, the government simply posts a description of the project, which includes the details of the product or service they want to buy.

Registered government vendors can then submit a bid that specifies what price they would charge to fulfill that product or service.

You could certainly sell either goods or services to the U.S. government…

…but I'm including this opportunity with some other service-based business examples just because I had to put it somewhere…

and because I already covered a lot of product-focused businesses.

But back to my point about submitting bids on FedBid.

You could certainly sell your own products or services on FedBid.

But you could also be a broker for the government that simply hires third parties to fulfill the contract for you once you win the bid.

To do so, you would go out and get quotes from 2-3 different sources, and then add your margin for handling the transaction.

You would then submit your bid to the U.S. government on FedBid for the higher amount that includes your broker fee.

And if you win the bid, you then hire one of the 2-3 companies who had given you the quote for fulfilling the order.

As you can see, there are a number of ways to take advantage of the opportunity to work with the U.S. government.

If you want to learn more about this subject, check out my special report called:

Sell To The U.S. Government Within 72 Hours

This report shows you step-by-step how to get registered as a government vendor…

…the three different ways you can do business with the U.S. federal government

…how to get registered on FedBid

…and how to become a broker that gets third parties to fulfill the orders for you.

Let's take a look now at the last example of a service-based business that I have for you today.

Can you imagine if you were paid to play around on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Linked In?

Well, a hot new opportunity exists today for "social media managers".

And that is exactly what they do: get paid to play around on social media sites.

You see, a lot of businesses recognize the value of having a presence on Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, and other top social media sites.

But they either don't have the staff or the knowledge of how to accomplish this.

So more and more companies are starting to hire contract social media managers to handle their social media campaigns for a monthly fee.

The typical services that you would perform as a social media manager include:

1.  Creating the company pages on these social media sites for your client, if they don't already have one.

2.  Developing the social media strategy for the company to determine what type of content to post, and at what frequency.

3.  Actively participating in the social media channels for your client, according to the social media strategy that you helped them develop.

If this sounds like an area you would like to learn more about, then make sure you check out the special report that I put together.

It's called:

How To Make Money Playing Around On Social Media Sites For Other Businesses

This report shows you how to find clients that are likely to want your social media services…

…what to charge them

…how to setup new company pages for your client on the most popular social media sites if they don't already have them

…how to maintain the sites for them – which really means getting paid to play around on social media sites.

:)

So that completes my review of the 8 hottest businesses to start today.

I hope that gives you a ton of ideas on the types of businesses you can start, or new revenue streams you can add in the future.

Go back and review all 8 of the businesses that I've covered with you in these past 3 lessons.

Compare them to your list on the Strength Finder worksheet on what you love to do and what you want from your own business.

Take a final look to see if any of these businesses could be that dream type of business for you.

I'll give you some final tips in the next lesson on how to choose the perfect type of business for yourself.

Talk Soon,

Denise "Follow The Hot Trends" Gosnell

P.S.  I'm sure you've noticed that I've promoted some of my other products in the past few lessons.

One of the ways that I'm able to offer such high quality training to you for free is by selling my other products to you.

But I only want you to buy the stuff that you really need or find interesting.

So just because I mention something that I sell, please don't feel pressured to go buy it as a favor to me.

If you never buy anything from me, that's OK too.

I just hope that you get good value from what I give you in this training series and in the twice-weekly newsletters.

At my company, Business Thrival, we work our butts off to provide awesome free content so that we help everyone we reach, whether they become customers or not.

But if you are truly interested in more training on a certain topic, I would sure appreciate you buying from me instead of a total stranger.

That helps me fund this project so I can continue to offer this training for free to you and thousands of other new business owners.
