In today's Check It Out section, you will learn about a special report that Denise and I created to help you make money selling other people's products as an affiliate.

Make Money Selling Other People's Products
By Jynell Berkshire

Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money online. This is especially true if you don't have your own products to sell or if you want to add diversity to what you already sell.

As an affiliate marketer, you are given your own unique links to a product so the seller knows when a customer you referred buys their product. The seller then pays you a commission, a percentage of the sale, in return for referring the buyer.

So let's look at three steps you can use to make money selling other people's products as an affiliate.

Step 1: Find Products You Want To Sell

The first step in creating your affiliate marketing business is to decide what type of product(s) you want to sell initially.

The easiest way to decide what types of product(s) to sell is by researching some of the hottest trends in the market. You can do this by searching on some of the most popular places on the Internet.

For example, you can use Google's Keyword Tool. With this tool, you simply type in the different key words that you think people would use to search for a product.
Then Google spits out the data on how many people are searching on that topic each day on Google's search engine.

The Google Keyword Tool is a great way to figure out what products consumers are looking for. In fact, it's one of the best free tools that currently exists.

After you have determined the type of products you want to sell, the next step is to find the companies that actually sell those products.

Step 2: Find Companies That Sell The Products You Want To Promote

Many companies have affiliate programs that you can find directly on their web site. So if you found a company that has products you want to promote, you can visit that company's web site directly and see if they have an "Affiliate Signup" link.

You can also search online marketplaces. For example, Clickbank is an affiliate marketplace of over 50,000 digital products that allows publishers of digital products to find affiliates who want to promote their products.

Once you find a product you want to promote, you then sign up to become an affiliate of that company so that you can start promoting the product. There are various advertising methods you can use to promote the product, which is the next step.

Step 3: Advertise and Promote Your Affiliate Products

There are a number of ways you can advertise and promote your affiliate products to make money. For example, you can use paid advertising, content marketing, and social media, to name a few.

One way that Denise and I promote other people's products is through content marketing. This is a great way to get traffic to our affiliate offers.

With content marketing, you basically publish free content through various sites on the internet, and then point people directly to your affiliate listings, or back to your own web site that mentions your affiliate offers.

The goal is to get other people to like your content or comments, and therefore go visit your related page to get more information and hopefully buy the affiliate products that you are promoting.

The better quality of content that you publish, the more people will like you, and the more likely they will be to click on the link that you've provided.

For example, our Business Thrival newsletter that you are currently reading is one example of how we earn money through promoting our products and other high quality third party products after we deliver tremendous value through the newsletter content.

There are some cases where you may want to have your own blog that contains articles or product reviews, and then points to one or more affiliate products that you promote.

The benefit to having your own web site that contains your affiliate offers is that you can switch out your affiliate link with a different product any time you want.

However, you will generally get higher sales if you send visitors straight to your affiliate offer from your advertisements than if you send them to your own blog.

Body:

Are you ever stiff in the morning and have trouble getting out of bed? If so, then try some simple stretching techniques. Stretching your muscles is a great way to wake up your entire body and raise your energy level. By adding a few minutes of stretching to your morning routine, you'll experience the benefits of an increased range of motion, improved circulation, more muscle flexibility, and even some stress relief.

Mind:

Learning a new language introduces your mind to new concepts and new ways of looking at things. It is one of the best brain exercises with enormous benefits for your brain. Being bilingual can help to halt the age-related decline in brain function. Plus, it is a great communication tool when speaking with someone whose native language is not English.

Spirit:

Aromatherapy is a great to lift your spirits. It helps you to become more energized, more relaxed, and puts in a better mood. Try adding aromatherapy oils such as peppermint, lavender, or eucalyptus to your bath or adding a few drops to boiling water to scent a room.
